Many stems growing together.. some varieties will fuse together
and the result will be a very stick stem in one season!
Even if it doesn`t fuse together nicely,
it will still look very good as a bonchi
plant late in the autumn when cut down.
Of course, it will still thicken a LOT after several more months of growing.
I will feed it with plenty of nutrients to get as thick stems as possible,
